Karl was a parasite, but it took me months to realise that he wasn't the friend I thought of him as. He would always have some pie in the sky sounding idea for how we could make money together and couldn't stand when my trust in his ideas wavered. After awhile though, it became clear Karl just wanted anything he could get from anyone who had more than enough to give since apparently there's never been anybody like this guy before or so they say!
